After the Sun Dance

I just arrived back into the city and I’m still savouring the Sun Dance ceremony in my mind, body and spirit.

I’m also concerned with the downright scary message we received from a very powerful Medicine Man at the ceremony.

Now is the time we must learn to harvest medicines, food and water from the land because a great pandemic is going to sweep the planet.

Three out of every four people are going to die as a result of this sickness, says respected traditional Anishinaabe healer Mark Thompson.

3 out of every 4!!!!

I consider myself to be an excellent judge of character and I take what this man says very seriously.

I’ve seen him change the weather during last year’s ceremony.

He’s healed my wife of a very grave illness that western doctors couldn’t figure out.

In short, he’s the real deal. Ask any traditional Aboriginal person in the Winnipeg area.

Mark is not one to say things just so he can be heard. He’s a very gifted individual for whom I have the greatest amount of respect. He’s served his community in a healing capacity for over 32 years.

According to him, we will start to see signs of a global collapse this fall.

To dismiss what this man has to say would amount to living in denial of a very serious truth.

I’m not one inclined to believing in conspiracies, but I do believe in our Native prophecies.

Native prophecies are the most accurate known to humankind.

I will write more about prophecies in my next post.

Until then, what do you think? More importantly, what are you going to do?

Yet Another Interesting Post by you :) Could you please tell me or explain to me more what the medicine men said. As far as learning ways of surviving, my own tribe has been farming ever since it was introduced to us and have survived off the land. Our culture is very strong and so is our beliefs and I have no fear that our own people are in danger.
